Lodge's eleven lakefront cabins are uncommonly comfortable ~ at once rustic
and luxurious, even splendid. All guest rooms have large stone wood-burning
fireplaces and wonderful lake and mountain views, and all have private
baths, most with deep-soaking tubs and double headed showers.
To complete your experience,
a hearty Adirondack breakfast is included in your room rate along with
afternoon tea and nightly turndown service.

and 6:00p.m. Nightly room rates are for single or double occupancy, except
for our three double-suite lakefront cabins, which will accommodate up
to four guests. If you are bringing a pet (cabins only), there is a $75
per night charge for each pet.
There is a three to four-night minimum stay during holiday
periods.
At departure, an 10% service charge, a 7.75% New York
state sales tax, and a 3% Essex County room occupancy tax will be added
to your bill. The service charge allows you and your guest(s) to enjoy
a hearty Adirondack breakfast, afternoon tea service, nightly turndown
service, beverages and a variety of onsite activities for each day of
your stay.
Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check-out is 11:30 a.m.
In keeping with our tranquil setting, there are no televisions
in Lodge guest rooms. All guest rooms and our dining room are non-smoking.

As a gentle reminder, the Lake Placid Lodge is an adult property and children
above the age of fourteen are most welcome.

The Lodge understands how wonderful it is to share an Adirondack vacation
with your canine companion. Pet lovers ourselves, we yet realize that,
especially in unfamiliar settings, dogs will be dogs; despite an historical
track record of exemplary behavior. We therefore happily allow you to
share with your pet the creature comforts of your guest cabin, provided
they adhere to the following conditions:
All pets incur a $75 per pet, per night charge. They
will receive a dog bed, bowls for food and water, nightly turndown card
and treat and a special welcome gift.
When outside of their guest room on Lodge property,
pets must be on a leash and owners must clean up after them.
When left in their room alone, your pet must be crated
(the Lodge provides crates at $25 per night). We reserve the right to
refuse daily housekeeping or turndown service to rooms in which a pet
is left loose in the room.
In addition to the nightly charge, a $200 per pet security deposit is
required upon arrival. This deposit is refundable at the time of departure
barring any unintentional property damage, "accidents," noise
complaints, or disobedience of our leash law. Should your pet seriously
damage an item of Lodge property, you will be charged full replacement
value. Chronic disturbance issues may result in our requiring you to take
your pet(s) to a local kennel.

To confirm a reservation of one night, a 100% deposit (including
taxes or service charge) is required at the time of booking. To confirm
a reservation of two or
more nights,
a
50% deposit (including
taxes or service charge) is required at the time of booking with the
remaining deposit due 60 days prior to your arrival. If your remaining
deposit has not
been
received by that date, your reservation will be cancelled and the deposit
will not be refunded because we will have turned away many other potential
guests. If there are fewer than 60 days remaining before your visit,
the full 100% deposit (not including
taxes or service charge) is required at the time of booking.

Because of our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. A last-minute
cancellation gives us little chance of filling the space due to our remote
location. For these reasons, we uphold a strict cancellation policy. If
a cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to your arrival date, you
may elect to either receive a refund of your deposit less a $100 handling
fee, or apply the entire amount of your deposit towards a future stay
within the next year. If a cancellation is made less than 60 days prior
to your arrival date, no refund will be possible regardless of the reason.
Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation
dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked
from your intended stay.
