Due to the fire we had last December we can currently accommodate 22 people in our 11 double occupancy cabins and up to 26 people in our dining room. We are anticipating reopening the main lodge in the Spring of 2008 with total accommodations for approximately 70 people and reception space for approximately 100. If you are looking to have your wedding after June of 2008 we will go to contract 6 months prior to do the date to ensure that we will have the facilities to accomodate your needs. Transform The Lake Placid Lodge into your personal waterfront estate for a truly distinctive wedding weekend. A dedicated staff member will help to accommodate all of your wedding wishes, as well as plan activities and excursions for your guests from among all the Adirondacks have to offer. Lake Placid offers sporting activities year 'round from its clear sandy swimming area to miles and miles of mountain trails, to the nearby facilities of the Olympic Village and The Whiteface Club golf course. Guides can also be arranged for special hunting, fishing and hiking excursions. At any time of year, the Lodge provides spectacular natural settings and a wide variety of handsome interior spaces. Have the rolling lawn tented for a festive open-air event. Gather in the intimacy of the Wine Cellar for a cozy rehearsal dinner. Have your entire party rowed out to a private island in Lake Placid for a gourmet picnic. Entertain your guests with a special demonstration by one of the master Adirondack artists whose creative works furnishes the premises. Customize your event with special menus. Request your favorite homemade cookies on each pillow at turn-down. Pamper your guests with in-room massages or manicures. Our staff will be happy to make all necessary arrangement for a seamless overnight event, whether the party is inclined to exert itself in the mountains or relax on the dock-or both: there is something for everyone at Lake Placid Lodge, and a long weekend will only scratch the surface of all the possibilities. The rates for securing the entire property are adjusted
seasonally, and include rooms, tax, service, gratuities, and three meals
