Our Lodge King Rooms (Tamarac, St Regis and Hearthside) are located on the third floor of the Main Lodge. Quiet, private and very, very comfortable, each room is individually decorated, yet all feature a hand-made, king sized feather bed, wood-burning stone fireplace, and a private balcony that overlooks the lake and mountains. The king rooms have wonderful bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and rainfall showers. As with all of our Lake Placid accommodations, Tamarac, St Regis and Hearthside reflect the rustic elegance of the Adirondacks with rich fabrics, hand-crafted furnishings and dramatic views.
Treetop is a stunning suite on the top floor of the Main Lodge. True to its name, Treetop is a luxurious hideaway that seems to balance high in the pines. Windows wrap around the suite, inviting stunning views of the forest, lake and mountains inside. French doors open to a private covered balcony and a trio of Adirondack chairs. An extraordinary hand-made, twig-thatched king sized bed seems to grow from the floor, and faces a group of armchairs as well as the impressive wood-burning fireplace. A cathedral ceiling arcs over the space, and diamond-paned windows are set like jewels in the walls. This unique suite also features a hexagonal, bead board bathroom with a deep soaking tub for two and a separate shower.
Whiteface is a grand and magnificent guest suite at the top of the Main Lodge. Featuring tall windows and a long, private covered balcony, the suite looks far out over the lake to the woods, mountains and sky beyond. Inside, an enormous, hand-carved king bed faces the stone fireplace and a comfortable sitting area. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, marble sink and separate dressing room. A diamond-paned window over the deep soaking tub frames the trees outside.
